The new Bel-Air

This will be the weight weenies dream set up. The SDG I Fly is already pretty light (we tested the Ti-Fly version here)

Seatpost weighs 159g and the saddle is a staggering 120g. So the whole shooting match is 279g, about the weight of a standard titanium railed road saddle…

However it’s not all about weight saving as the I-Beam’s rail offers loads of fore/aft adjustment so it will be popular with triathletes and time trialists too (for getting further over the bottom bracket).

The carbon road only (27.2mm) seatpost is £96.95

The I Beam saddles come in a variety of designs. The I-Fly takes the minimalist
£61.95 for the I-Fly design and £56.95 for the more comfortable Bel-Air SL. The Bel-Air is well know in mountain bike circles and recognised as one of the most comfy saddles on the market. The SL has been re-vamped with the road rider in mind.
