Comtat London is the latest UK bike brand to launch, with a collection of carbon road bikes focused on performance and style at an affordable price.

The home-grown brand has been designed and built in the UK,with four carbon frames available at launch. Prices range from £699 to £899, with complete bikes from £1399 to £3599.

The range includes the Comtat Bédoin, Comtat Télégraphe, Comtat Tourmalet and Comat Sablet, and will be finished with a unique paintjob. Based on the Comtat crest logo, frames will be painted in black or white incorporating the crest and a ‘surface design’ on the inside of the forks, seatstays and chainstays.

Comtat offer the ‘ComtatCreatorTM’ bike building system to let customers easily choose which components they want on their new frame, with custom builds ranging from £1400 to £5000.

Comtat London is the brainchild of director, Adam Roberts, a keen cyclist. The aim, he says: “is to create a range of bikes which are simple yet stylish, polished, yet performance focused; something I and my cycling club mates would be happy to ride. A performance range aimed squarely at cyclists who embrace style and fashion. My vision is that Comtat London can become the UK’s answer to Canyon; a brand I have always respected.”

Also available are Comtat London carbon bottle cages and handlebars, and the Comtat.CC (www.comtat.cc) team kit, featuring the Comtat crest and the distinctive black and white colour palette.
