Conclusion
The Raleigh Militis Comp is fun and engaging, a bike to race at a crit, or to ride hard for a few hours, but not necessarily a machine for a long sportive or similar endurance effort. The specification is excellent for the price, and with the exception of the seatpost, we wouldn’t be in a hurry to change any of it.
Raleigh will hold a special place in the affections of many riders, and while your correspondent is no exception, our good opinion of the Militis Comp is based on nothing other than its performance. It is an excellent bike within the sphere of a fast, uncompromising machines that reward effort, and we’d recommend it without hesitation to anyone seeking a first, race-ready machine, or to those who value speed more than comfort.
