RH+ Happyfeet Shoe Cover – £40
Warm and dry feet are happy feet. Well, that’s the reason we can think of behind the name of the RH+ Happyfeet overshoes (or shoe covers, as they call them).
RH+ say they’re made from the same ‘Airdry Gold 250’ fabric as the Iceland Jacket but it feels more like a neoprene to touch. A quick look at the label reveals a 45 per cent neoprene, 28 per cent polyester, 19 per cent polyamide and six per cent polyurethane composition. RH+ state a recommended temperature range of -6 to 8 degrees.
The Happyfeet overshoes have an offset zip which is seam-taped to boost waterproofing. Reflective details come in the way of an RH+ logo on the outside of either foot, as well as a wide vertical stripe at the rear. The cleat hole is reinforced and a tougher fabric is used elsewhere on the base of the overshoe to improve durability.
The Happyfeet Shoe Cover is available in black only and four sizes from medium to extra-extra-large for £40. Our medium sample fits a size 43 shoe well. RH+’s overshoe range also extends to the Vermont Shoe Cover (£45), which they have also sent us to test in high-viz ‘acid yellow/black’.
