Developed in conjunction with the pro racers of Cervélo TestTeam, Spanish component specialist Rotor´s chain catcher has been designed to avoid chain problems during both the spring Classics and 3-week stage races.
This custom-designed aluminium accessory is attached to the fitting bolt of a braze-on front mech to prevent derailment of the chain to the inside and ensure perfect shifting between the ‘rings in extreme riding conditions.
Officially unveiled at Eurobike, the chain catcher will be available to the public from mid-December.
As with all ROTOR products, it’s manufactured from 7075 aluminium alloy and CNC machined completely in house.
Only compatible with braze-on front derailleurs, it weights just six grammes and carries a price tag of €19.99.
