Rouleur has just released a new range of cycling hero t-shirts based on the cartoons of Richard Mitchelson which appeared in issue 14.
Richard Mitchelson’s cartoon recounting the much-told legend of the Giro of 1974, albeit in a very different manner from how the story is usually related to fans of the sport, appeared in issue 14 of Rouleur. Rouleur have now done a set of t-shirts that allows you to wear the face of one of the heroes of cycling – but in a slightly different way.
The t-shirts come with six different motifs: Felice Gimondi, José Manuel Fuente, Eddy Merckx, Greg Lemond, Laurent Fignon and Marco Pantani – each of them drawn in Mitchelson’s idiosyncratic and memorable style: it’s unusual but true to the character of the rider and immediately recognisable, making the t-shirts an ideal collector’s item.
