Sidi are increasingly accustomed to producing limited edition shoes, such as the flowery Ergo 2 Carbon’s they gifted Fillipo Pozzato of Liquigas at Milan-San Remo earlier this year.
Continuing this theme, Sidi has released a bold new version of the women-specific Genius 5 Pro, decorated with flowers in homage to the Milan-San Remo race, often referred to as the ‘flowers classic.’
Sidi shoes have won this race for the past three years, worn by Fabian Cancellara in 2008, Oscar Freire in 2007 and Filippo Pozzato in 2006.
“Performance and elegance join with a new look in light blue flower motifs on a white background to make Genius 5 Pro Woman a great cycling shoe as well as a beautiful fashion statement. In addition to its graphics and colors, the technical characteristics of the Genius 5 Pro Woman make it the ideal shoe for the woman who doesn’t want to sacrifice fashion and elegance when she rides her bicycle.”
“Idealized and realized for the feminine foot, Genius 5 Pro Woman stands out for its soft instep closure system, an adjustable band on the top of the foot equipped with a micrometric closure that permits easy adjustment even while moving, and the high security Velcro system with Velcro bands that close the front of the shoe securely and snugly.”
