The new Sidi Genius Pro 5 Woman is designed for the “lady that [sic] values form, functionality and a design that is truly something unique”, it says here.
That may be so, but underneath the decorative flowers printed across the latest women-specific shoe from Italian footwear manufacturer Sidi is an ergonomically designed performance shoe shaped for a woman’s feet.
The design of the shoe focuses on the lower volume and proportionally narrower heel of the female foot. The new Millennium 3 sole means the shoes are light and aerodynamic. The heel is reinforced, cups the ankle, holding it in place and is designed to withstand extreme performance and prolonged use without becoming deformed.
The SL buckle allows for micro-adjustments for a precise and comfortable fit, whilst high security Velcro helps ensure that the shoe remains in place. The upper is made from a hi-tech Lorica synthetic leather, which is breathable, water-repellent and resistant to scratching and splitting.
