If you find yourself in New York on November 29, you could do worse than visit the one-night-only exhibition and auction of 90 new art works commissioned by SRAM.
Sales of pieces made for SRAM’s pART Project will raise funds for World Bicycle Relief, a charity supplying bicycles to some of the world’s poorest people.
Artists have used all manner of SRAM components, including chains, cassettes, and derailleurs, to fashion their works.
Lewis Tardy, whose 2011 entry, Powerglide, was declared the Grand Prize Winner, has submitted another figure to this year’s competition.
The exhibition and auction will be held at the Cedar Lake Theatre, 547 West 26th Street, New York City from 6.30pm.
