Triathlon, Cycling and Running Show – Part two…

Ridley, plenty of style and plenty of value

Ridley bikes for 2005 look nice. Go here for more.

PMP are a component company that make all sorts of aerospace parts from titanium and fancy materials. Cycling is a bit of a distraction for the engineers at PMP and they have made some very lovely CNC machined parts. Gilberto Simoni used a set of their really light hubs during the Giro D’talia, he has them built into a pair of special climbing wheels.

The Cranks are a cross between Shimano, Race Face and Coda. With external bearings and a built in cover on the crank arm. Light and, apparently, very stiff.

Available from Cycles Dauphin or ABI imports 01293 530643

Trek have taken to custom colour options on their Madone’s. Get the crayons out and head for Project One

Torq bars are one of the more palatable energy bar makers. Their flavours are a little more adventerous and the texture is a lot less polyfilla than many of the market leaders. New flavours include Rasberry and apple (yum) and Ginger and pineapple.

And the show wouldn’t be complete without a new set of Zero Gravities…
