This Saturday sees the second leg of the new Revolution championship at Manchester Velodrome.
Topping the bill in the endurance events is home-crowd hero Bradley Wiggins who returns to the track following his incredible season on the road. Wiggins will be joined by fellow Brits and Revolution regulars Geraint Thomas, Ben Swift and Dean and Russell Downing. Keeping the star count high, Chris Newton, Ed Clancy, Andy Tennant and Steven Burke all make their season debut after missing the previous Revolution due to Team GB commitments.
The sprint racing looks set to be dominated by the Sky + HD boys with a line up including Jason Kenny, Matt Crampton, Jamie Staff, Ross Edgar and Pete Mitchell. Dave Daniell makes his first appearance this season with Roberto Chiappa and Craig MacLean making up the full eight.
There will also be a special guest in the sprints, in the form of former Olympic skier Alain Baxter who makes his competitive cycling debut since taking up the sport fulltime this year. Completing the exciting line-up are European six-day stars Leon Van Bon, Luke Roberts and Leif Lampater.
Seated tickets are sold out, but some standing tickets are still available for purchase. For ticket purchases and further information, please see the website www.cyclingrevolution.com
