The Chris Ibbotson Memorial Road Race forms an important part of the cycling Spring Calendar for the South East. Sandwiched between the prestigious Archer Grand Prix Premier Calendar event and the re-invigorated Fred Cowley Gizmondo Grand Prix, the midweek Chris Ibbotson Memorial race is a superb addition to an exciting 8 days of racing.

The 75 mile race will be open to all E/1/2/3 and will boast a separate prize list for both the E/1 and 2/3 category riders. The whole race will start together, but Fit-For are essentially running two races in one.
A generous prize list, medals and (hopefully!) winners jerseys will be presented to the top 3 in each race after the event. The course will be based around the fast circuits of Kirdford and Dunsfold. These courses have been used to enable riders an early season race without the fear of any leg breaking climbs (ooo, I like the sound of that…) So whether you’re looking for a useful early season race, or a reason to skip off work for the afternoon – make sure you get your entries in early.
