Stage 6
London please report to the race organisers’ unit in Whitehall at 9.00am. When you get there I’ll be able to tell you some more specific duties but essentially you’ll be involved in stewarding the crossing points during the Team Presentation and the race later on during the day. It’s going to be a long day so although the TOB will provide some light refreshments (a bottle of water and energy bars) I would advise that you bring a packed lunch. Once you have reported you will be given a T-Shirt and tabard that we ask you wear during the course of your duties.
Other goodies will include a year of the volunteer t-shirt and bag, a race programme and BC membership form (for your free bronze membership) Please could you hand back the tabard at the end of the events. I realise that’s its been a little while since I’ve last contacted you, therefore could you confirm that you will still be available for the days event.
I also need to find out a few more details about you. Could you tell me in your replies if you are under 25 and if you are already a member of British Cycling? See you in August and September – contact Robert Jefferies
