Tour of Britain teams finalised

The 2004 Tour of Britain has come a long way since the Milk Race and the Prutour. Many first and second division teams have signed up for this 5-day event, most notably: U.S. Postal, Lotto-Domo, CSC, Credit Agricole and T-Mobile.

Although riders like Lance Armstrong and Jan Ullrich will not be riding, their teams will be and there will be plenty of top quality Tour de France riders and continental based pros to be seen in action. Home interest will be in the form of National teams from Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Great Britain. And as they say on the ToB site, admission is free!

Teams already signed up include:

Chocolade Jacques Wincor-Nixdorf BELGIUM

Crédit Agricole FRANCE

Navigators Insurance Cycling Team USA

Panaria-Margres ITALY

QuickStep-Davitamon BELGIUM

Relax-Bodystyle SPAIN

T-Mobile Team BELGIUM

Team Barloworld-Androni Giacattoli UK

US Postal Service-Berry Floor USA

The Tour’s official website has all the race route details and team website information here.
