Offered as an alternative event for those cyclists based in the South East and unable to take part in the Dragon Ride in Wales, the inaugural Addiscombe CC Challenge ride will take place on 5th June with the ride headquarters located in Coulsdon, Surrey.

The 85 mile route covers a mix of terrain from rolling to markedly hilly and takes in some of the best-known climbs and descents in the region including the Box Hill Zig Zag, which will feature in the 2012 Olympic Road Race.

Features and backup will include a clearly marked route, map, sag-wagon support, qualified first-aid and feed stations.

Mule Bars will be available at the start and bronze, silver and gold age-based category certificates for all finishers at the end.
