Gerard’s been busily snapping away at this year’s Dauphine Libere and while Stage Four of the race is getting underway here’s a quick update on yesterday’s results.
It was the American riders who showed impressive form in the Stage Three Time-Trail around the Bourg-de-Peage, with David Zabriskie (US/Team CSC) coming in ahead of Floyd Landis (U.S./Phonak), Levi Leipheimer (U.S./Gerolsteiner) and George Hincapie (U.S./Discovery Channel).
Philippe Gilbert (Bel/Francaise des Jeux) has retained the overall lead with Zabriskie now sitting in second place.
Meanwhile, the riders are embarking on Mont Ventoux so key an eye out for photo galleries and more reports to follow later.
