Denis Menchov (Russia/Rabobank) crossed the line as winner of stage four of the Dauphine yesterday after a tightly contested sprint with Christophe Moreau (France/AG2R).
After the notoriuosly tough Mont Ventoux stage Levi Leipheimer (US/Gerolsteiner) now takes the overall lead placing Menchov second in the general classifications. British boy, Bradley Wiggins (GB/Cofidis), is sitting in 53rd place after 4 stages.
