Kristian House and the rest of the Recycling.co.uk team saw off a strong challenge from several decent teams at the FBD Insurance RÁS. American rider Danny Pate had held the lead and looked the one likely to worry House and co the most, but they kept him in check and House continued his so far very successful season.
A special mention has to go to the irrepressible Wayne Randle (Doncaster Stena Line). The hardman from Sheffield showed that he’s a class apart and at a similar vintage to fellow Yorkshireman Malcolm Elliott showed the young lads a thing or two about hard riding. Must be something in the water in Sheffield.
