Since leaving the cycling hotbed that is RCUK Guy Andrews has been spotted out and about on the weekend putting in a ‘not too shabby’ road performance.
Guy Andrews and Dan Staite of Rapha Condor rode the fastest time for the Lewes Wanderers CC GP Des Gentlemen 2up TTT race on Sunday.
Covering a rolling 17.68 miles in 39.42 @ 26.7mph this was Guys first victory of 2006.
Dan said; “I didn’t realise that the vet gets a free ride in this TTT thus I was fairly lax in my approach to this race and hardly touched my bike (one ride) before Sunday. Needless to say I struggled and was sick after the race behind my car.”
Who are Rapha-Condor?
The Rapha-Condor racing team launched on 30th March 2006. The team has two ‘squads’: an A team of elite and pro riders plus a B team of second and first category racers.
The team have contested Premier Calender, South East league and other races in the UK. The team is twinned with VCC Beziers in the South of France and have competed in races there throughout the season.
Beziers riders have also come over to ride with RaphaCondor in the UK.
