SRAM continues to stake claim to ever more race victories, its latest coming courtesy of Zdenek Stybar who won the 2010 Men’s Elite World Cyclocross Championships at the weekend.
On his SRAM RED equipped Ridley the Czech rider crossed the finishing line 21 seconds ahead of his nearest opponent Klaas Vantournout from Belguim. In fact, Stybar rode away from the rest of the field on the second lap and from that point he never looked back.
Zdenek Stybar and his Team Telenet-Fidea have dominated the cyclo-cross season by also winning the overall World Cup standings. On their way to success, the Belgium team has been riding SRAM RED and the new Avid Shorty Ultimate brakes, putting them through the toughest riding conditions on the racing circuit.
