Stage seven: Bozic sprints to victory

Borut Bozic seals victory in Colchester

Vacansoleil’s Borut Bozic added a Tour of Britain stage win to his Palmarès with victory on stage seven in Colchester.

The Slovenian, who won a stage during last year’s Vuelta a Espana, won the bunch sprint ahead of Team Sky’s Greg Henderson, who leads the points competition, and Team Saxo Banks’ Richie Porte.

The victory is Vacansoleil’s second of the race after Wout Poels won in Teignmouth on Tuesday.

HTC-Columbia’s Michael Albasini finished safely in the peloton to retain the overall lead ahead of Bozic.

The 2010 Tour of Britain finishes with a 100km circuit stage in London tomorrow.
