An additional 300 tickets for next month’s UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Glasgow will go on sale on Thursday (November 1) at 11am.
The tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis via www.trackworldcup.co.uk.
The second round of the World Cup series will take place on November 16-18 at the new Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, which will host the track cycling events at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Great Britain’s 15-rider team includes seven gold medallists from this summer’s London 2012 Olympic Games.
Jonny Clay, cycle sport and membership director of British Cycling, said: “We have been inundated with interest in this event and we’ve worked hard with the venue to maximise the additional capacity available through temporary seating.
“We are expecting demand to be high for these additional tickets and not everyone will be successful, but we’re really excited by the on going interest this event is generating.”
