Tour de France stage four: photo gallery

Stage four of the 2012 Tour de France continued the high drama present at the prologue and on the previous three stages.

Andre Greipel gained the victory Mark Cavendish had denied him on the previous stage, while Cavendish was left to rue his misfortune at a crash that took him out of contention.

An exhilarating prologue and four frenetic finishes have made the opening week of the 2012 Tour one of the best for years. We can only hope for more of the same.

Here are five images from official UCI WorldTour photographer, Stefano Sirotti, that capture the best moments of stage four.
