Campagnolo celebrates 75 glorious years with a new book: Campagnolo: 75 Years of Cycling Passion.
Campagnolo’s rich history began with the founder, Tullio Campagnolo, a racer who famously devised the quick-release wheel skewer with hollow spindle when he found himself unable to remove a rear wheel during a race up the Croce d’Aune in the Dolomites mountains. In the years that followed, Campagnolo created a series of patented designs that are influential today as the fundamental designs upon which many modern parts are based.
With its deeply researched history (much of it from the company’s private archives), spectacular colour photography, reverential text and lavish presentation, ‘Campagnolo’ is a book for every lover of the sport and technology of cycling, as well as connoisseurs of the bicycle itself. Colour and black-and-white photos and illustrations are found throughout.
The book will be available at the beginning of November at good bookshops or direct from www.cordee.co.uk
