Dorset Bike Ride returns on 11 May

The Hearts First Dorset Bike Ride returns for 2008 and takes place on Sunday 11 May. Suitable for families and cycling enthusiasts alike, it offers a choice of either a 25, 50 or brand new 66 mile circular route through some spectacular villages and countryside in Dorset. The event starts and finishes at Queen Elizabeth School in Wimborne and begins between 9am and 10.30am.

Andy Coles, BHF Event Organiser, said: “This event has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds over the years and over £260,000 in the last seven years alone. This year we have added a 66 mile route, which is a must for all riders wanting to challenge themselves on a Sunday morning ”

Taking part costs £10 in advance or £15 on the day. There will be a prize for the individual participant and the team that raises the highest amount of sponsorship and returns it to us by 31 August.
