The 2009 Dragon Ride Wales will take place on 14th June, starting and finishing once again from Pencoed College, Bridgend. Preparations for the event are well underway with further refinements being added to the now classic south Wales route together with an expansion of the arena area attractions and retailers as the event continues to provide one of the best cyclosportive events in Europe.

Online entries will be available from 27th December 2008 and the take up is expected to be high in the first few days of availability. Organisers BreakAway Cycling are also offering packages to sister event, the Cape Argus Pick ‘n’ Pay Cycle Tour 2009.
