With online voting underway, this week sees the four competing projects in the Big Lottery Fund’s ‘The People’s £50 Million Lottery Giveaway’ showcased in a series of short programmes on ITV1 presented by Katie Derham. Lorraine Kelly champions the cause for Sustrans’ Connect 2 on Tuesday evening, 4th December at 11.05pm, so anyone interested should either make sure they stay up to watch or set the recorder.
Katie Derham recaps the four projects in a round-up programme on Friday 7th December at 11.05pm when telephone lines will be open for the public vote. All voting ends at noon on Monday 10th. The winner of the £50 million will be announced on ITV News on Wednesday 12th December.
Everyone can vote online now at www.thepeoples50million.org.uk/vote, as well as by landline and mobile from 9am on Friday 7th December. Anyone who would like to be sent the telephone voting number on Friday can text ‘Connect2’ to 80010 (standard network rate) or complete the form at www.sustransconnect2.org.uk; Sustrans will then pass on the number as soon as it’s available!
