Etape and Cyclosportif Training

South East cycling coach John Leitch is holding an afternoon training session in Surrey for riders preparing
for the Etape du Tour and similar cyclosportives.

The venue is the village hall at Leigh, 3 miles south of the mid-point between Dorking
and Reigate. The session will begin at 1.30pm on December 1 with doors opening at 1pm.

Speakers include coach John Capelin, novice rider Andrew Green, who needed
a big step-up in his mileage in order
to tackle the Marmotte cyclosportif in 2007, and Leigh Smithers, who has returned
to competition and who joined the thousands who
rode last year’s Etape
