4. Marianne Vos (Rabo Liv Women)
Anybody lucky enough to set off at a similar time as Marianne Vos at the 2014 RideLondon-Surrey 100 sportive will have had the pleasure – however brief – of riding in sight of the Dutchwoman’s rainbow jersey as she took more than 50 Queen of the Mountains title on the sportive route.
Vos may have been usurped as world champion since then, both on the road and in cyclo-cross, by team-mate Pauline Ferrand-Prevot but she remains the undoubted superstar of women’s cycling.
And as a regular Strava user, Vos is a must-follow for an insight into how a multiple champion trains and races.
Her most recent Strava rides include Rabo Liv’s training camp in Calpe, while highlights from last year include the Women’s Tour.
If you need any reminder of Vos’ quality, the Dutch wonder woman snatched 71 Strava QOM titles on stage five of that race alone – the third consecutive stage she won as she bagged the inaugural overall win.
