Giant-Shimano’s seemingly endless supply of sprinting talent showed itself again on stage three of the Criterium du Dauphine.
In finishing first and third respectively, Nikias Arndt and Reinardt Janse van Rensburg showed it is not just Messrs. Kittel, Degenkolb and Mezgec who can excel in a bunch gallop.
And that is without even counting the sprinting talents of female counterparts like Kirsten Wild and British star Lucy Garner.
It may not have been a first class sprinting field on show, but neither was it a straight-forward sprint stage.
