Chris Froome had mighty big boots to fill when he was assigned the task of leading Team Sky to their second consecutive Tour de France victory.
However, after Bradley Wiggins became the first Briton to ever win the famous race last year, Froome-dog has come to the fore with a series of stunning rides to win the yellow jersey and increase his grip on the hallowed jersey.
After climbing to victory up Ax3 Domaines and Mont Ventoux, Froome reminded everyone he is pretty handy on a time trial bike too by storming through for to take stage 17 ahead of Alberto Contador.
