Santos Tour Down Under 2016: TV schedule

Where and when you can watch the first UCI WorldTour race of the season

The Tour Down Under kicks off the 2016 UCI WorldTour season when it rolls out in Adelaide on Tuesday January 19.

The six-stage race pits former winner Simon Gerrans against the like of defending champion Rohan Dennis, former Team Sky man Richie Porte and his ex-teammate Geraint Thomas.

It will also be a first chance to check out riders’ form as they emerge out of winter ahead of an action-packed Olympic year, see riders racing for their new teams for the first time (and in new kits) and just generally get excited that the pro season is back underway.

Every stage will be broadcast live in the UK by Sky Sports – though, with the race being in Australia, you’ll have to sacrifice sleep if you plan on tuning in.

However, with daily highlights shows, also on Sky Sports, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to watch the action unfold.

Here’s where – and when – to catch every stage of the 2016 Santos Tour Down Under.
