Race organisers have announced the teams for this year’s Aviva Tour of Britain, and the line up is headlined by nine World Tour teams including Cannonade Garmin who won the race last year (as Garmin Sharp) with dutchman Dylan Van Baarle.
Alongside Cannondale Garmin are Mark Cavendish’s Etixx Quick-Step squad and Team Sky who are sure to bring a team featuring a lot of home grown talent.
The other World Tour teams featuring are BMC Racing, IAM cycling, Lotto Soudal, Movistar, Lotto NL Jumbo and Tinkoff-Saxo. Fresh from their successful Tour de France debut, MTN Qhubeka will also take to the start line in Beaumaris, Anglesey on Saturday September 6.
