Andy Tennant finished as Team Wiggins’ highest placed rider on stage two of the Tour de Yorkshire after coming 13th in the bunch sprint, won by Team Sky’s Danny van Poppel.
Tennant is using the Tour de Yorkshire as part of his preparation for this summer’s Olympic Games, where he hopes to be part of Great Britain’s team pursuit squad.
