Full Terms and Conditions

By taking part in this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these rules.

1. Promoter: Factory Media Limited of 1 West Smithfield, London, EC1A 9JU (“Factory Media”) is the Promoter of the prize draw, Continental Tyres, 191 High Street, Yiewsley, West Drayton, UB7 7XW is the prize draw sponsor. Please do not send entries to this address.
2. By taking part in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 prize draw (“Competition”), you agree to be bound by these Competition Rules and by the decisions of the Promoter which are final in all matters relating to the Competition in every situation, including any not covered in the Competition Rules and no correspondence will be entered into.

3. Eligibility: The promotion is open to all UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) who are 18 years or over excluding employees and their immediate families of the promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with this promotion.

4. Promotional Period: The opening date for the receipt of entries to the prize draw is 04.04.16 and the closing date for receipt of entries is 13.05.16.

5. Entry Instructions: Visit the competition page and register using a Facebook login only. One prize draw entry per person. Fill in the entry form with your correct details, selected the number of entries required (maximum of 2) and submit. The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. You are providing your information to the Promoter, not Facebook. The information you provide will only be used for the purpose of facilitating the Promotion unless you have agreed to its use for any other purpose. By entering the Promotion, all Participants agree to give Facebook a complete release from any and all legal liability in connection with the Promotion.

7. Only one prize draw entry per person: Any duplicate entries will not be considered.

8. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries/claims will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.

9. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted.  Incomplete or illegible entries or via third parties or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified.  If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) or multiple aliases to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that participant’s entries into the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the Promotion, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

10. The Prize: 50 entries for Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 on 31.07.16. Maximum 2 places per winner. No expenses or travel/accommodation included.

11. Winner Selection: Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries after the closing date via a computer system producing random results. Draw will be complete when all entries have been allocated.
12. Winner Notification: The winner will be contacted via email within 3 days of the closure of the draw. Winners have 72 hours to accept the prize. Winners MUST register for the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 by 5pm on 27^th May 2016. 13. Prizes will be provided by the Sponsor. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure or complaints regarding the condition of the prizes and any such complaints should be made to the Sponsor directly. All warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded.
14. If you are a winner, you may have to provide additional information (including, without limitation, proof of age or identity) and/or complete additional documents and return them to the Promoter within a specified period. Failure to provide additional information and/or complete additional documents within the required time period, or notification returned as undeliverable as addressed will result in your disqualification as a winner and an alternative winner will be selected.

15. No responsibility can be taken for entries or claims which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

17. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible entries.

18. Entries that do not comply with the Terms and Conditions or entrants found to be abusing the promotion in any way will have all of their entries disqualified. The Promoter reserves the right to verify any entrant details, including age, before awarding a prize.

19. There are no cash alternatives to the prizes available in whole or in part except in the event of circumstances outside its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar alternative of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter the prize will only be awarded directly to the winner.

20. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous uninterrupted or secure access to the website. Numerous factors outside the control of the Promoter may interfere with the operation of the Website. No responsibility will be accepted for any difficulties in entering or any entries delayed or corrupted.

21. The decisions of the Promoter are final in all promotional matters.

22. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to, lost, delayed or not received entries, winner notifications or prizes or for any malfunctions, errors or viruses in the software that has been designed to maintain the entrants’ details, or for any incompatibility with all, or any, hardware and/or software that entrants may use. The Promoter does not guarantee that the website will be available all the time or at any specific time. The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of The Promoter or its agencies.

23. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winners and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion where there are reasonable grounds to believe that: there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of the entry requirements of this draw; or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the draw or won using fraudulent means.

24. The prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. The Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances outside its control.
25. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions , at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

26. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the name and county of the winners on their social media pages or other media.

27. For winner(s) full names and counties please write to the promoter within 3 months of the closing date enclosing a self-addressed envelope, please mark your envelope for the attention of Continental Ride 100 competition, Factory Media, 1 West Smithfield London EC1A 9JU. Available for 3 months following the closing date.

28. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions , at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
29. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies accept no liability for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the Promotion and/or prizes, other than such liability that cannot be excluded by law including death or personal injury through negligence, where liability shall be limited to the minimum permissible by law.
30. By entering the draw, entrants will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted the terms and condition.
31. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
