London’s Look Mum No Hands! cycling cafe will host a charity auction and raffle on March 7-8, with the chance to bid on a Team Sky helmet signed by Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish and Luke Rowe.
The event will raise money for the Cycle A Difference ride, which will see a team cycle the length of Vietnam in ten days this May in aid of Newborns Vietnam, a UK-registered charity dedicated to reducing neonatal mortality in south east Asia.
The ride will be led by round-the-world record holder Mike Hall, while David Jaquin, digital content editor on RoadCyclingUK’s sister-site MPORA, will also take part.
Thursday March 7 will see Look Mum No Hands! host an auction of stunning cycling photography from all over the world, with the signed Team Sky-issue Kask Vertigo helmet included as a special one-off lot.
Meanwhile, Friday March 8 will see the cafe team up with the Darkstar Brewing Co for a raffle of cycling products from brands including Oakley, Giro, Rapha, Kask and Chapeau. Each raffle ticket will include a free beer.
Both events start at 6pm at Look Mum No Hands: 49 Old Street, London, EC1V 9HX.
