Ready to face the Wall of Foam? To tackle the Tequila Shortcut?
If you’re hoping to make your cyclo-cross debut this winter, there are still places left in the fun class at all three rounds of the Rapha Super Cross series.
The class, for riders aged 16 and over, will be contested at Broughton Hall, Yorkshire, on Saturday October 20, at Misterton Hall, Leicestershire, on Saturday October 27, and at Alexandra Palace, London, on Sunday October 28.
Other classes include racing for seniors and junior men, women and veterans, youth, under 12, and under 10.
The Elite class will see British Cycling’s National Trophy Series champion, Paul Oldham, and his Hope Factory Racing teammates to defend their title.
Away from the elite category, the emphasis is on fun.
Beer, pies, frites, live music and cowbells are all features of the day, lending a distinctly Belgian air to proceedings for spectators, for whom admission is free.
