Trek Bicycle Coventry shop to open on September 22

Trek’s second UK store will open in Coventry on Saturday September 22.

Trek Bicycle Coventry will be a retail concession of 3,230 square feet in the new Leekes department store in the Gallagher Business Park and follows Trek’s flagship Milton Keynes store, which opened last year.

The Coventry shop, which will only stock Trek and Bontrager products, is the second retail venture for Andrew Hutchings of Cotswold Cycles.

“I am excited to be partnering with Trek to develop this new store, and to reach a large group of potential cyclists,” said Hutchings.

“We are committed to providing a very high level of service to make the whole experience of bike buying and ownership a pleasurable one.”

Trek UK general manager Nigel Roberts added: “Andrew is an ideal partner for our second UK Trek Store. He’s had very positive results from Cotswold Cycles, and his choice of the new Leekes store concession will draw in customers who are perhaps unfamiliar with bike shops.

“The timing is right given the recent triumphs of British cycling athletes on the world stage, and we fully expect more people to take up cycling as a result. Trek Store Coventry is poised to facilitate getting more people on bikes, with a high level of service.”
