Perhaps better known for its range of clothing, Swobo also puts out a couple of nice street bikes. The Sanchez is one very clearly aimed at riders who regularly punish the streets of big cities, foregoing such modern niceties as gears and brakes (maybe that last omission is the reason for so many jumping red lights…)
The frame is made from double butted CroMo, with forged horizontal dropouts and integrated adjusters, with a straight blade Swobo fork. The minimal component count runs to a pair of Truvativ Touro cranks, Swobo branded grips, handlebar, saddle, seatclamp, seat post and stem. Wheels are Swobo high-flange hubs, flip-flop rear hub, and Alex 32h rims with Continental UltraSport 23c tyres.
Price in the region of £300. More information at www.swobo.com
