The Tour de France
The Tour de France
For three weeks in July cycling takes its annual journey back into the public consciousness.
Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a once-a-year observer, the Tour de France is cycling’s greatest race and an unmissable element of summer.
The way the Tour gradually unfolds over 21 days of racing, each storyline slowly developing as the race is building to its crescendo on the Champs-Elysees in Paris, makes it unlike any other sporting event on the planet.
This year’s race is likely to be one of the most fiercely contested in years with Chris Froome, Alberto Contador, Nairo Quintana and Vincenzo Nibali all set for the start line.
Vive le Tour!
