Five sportives to tackle before February

If you would prefer something a little shorter, the Performance Cycles Winter Mini-Sportive series returns for its fourth event on Sunday January 12.

Having moved from Poutlon to Waterland Outdoor Pursuits in Cirencester, the latest event offers distances of either 45 miles or 60 miles.

Give your riding skills an early examination in a January sportive

Feed stations are not available en route due to the short distances, but food is provided post-ride and freebies are available when you sign-on.

Way-marked routes, mechanical support and first aid are all on offer, with entry costing just £7 per rider – however places are strictly limited and nearly sold-out.
