The North Angel sportive, the latest edition to the Wiggle Super Series, will be held on Sunday July 22.
Three routes, all starting from Newcastle’s Kirkley Hall, are offered: the 92-mile “Epic” ride, a “Standard” ride of 80 miles, and the 66-mile “Fun” ride.
Each of the routes will take the riders through Rayless Common, Corsenside Common, Troughend Common, Hareshaw Common, and Chester Common.
Organisers, UK Cycling Events, have pledged “virtually traffic-free roads” and the “finest Northumberland countryside”.
Facilities include electronic timing, feed stations, mechanical support, bike wash, and showers.
