Mark Cavendish is offering fans the chance to join him on a cycling break around his favourite Tuscan training route through the Right to Play charity.
Cavendish is a long-time supporter of the international sport for development and peace charity and two fans can join him and the charity’s supporters near his Quarrata home on a two-night break.
The ride is being auctioned online, with the highest bidder set to enjoy the sweeping, scenic Tuscan ride on a medium-mountain route, a private lunch or dinner with Britain’s former world champion and a post-ride massage.
And Cavendish said: “I’m excited to be welcoming two cyclists to ride my favourite local roads in support of Right to Play.
“It’s a cause close to my heart, especially since my trip to Tanzania to see Right to Play’s work first hand.
“It’ll be a fun few days but most importantly, it’ll raise funds that make a direct difference to empower children to overcome poverty, conflict and disease.”
The silent four-day auction is now live and will run until midnight on Sunday December 21, with all proceeds going towards Right to Play projects.
