As the UK road cycling boom continues, more and more sportives are being added to the calendar every year, and 2015 is no different.

A number of new events have been launched for the year ahead, which look set to attract plenty of riders to the start line.

While the giants of the calendar remain, from the Wiggle Dragon Ride to European events like La Marmotte, fresh competition comes in the form of a number of new rides, including Mark Cavendish’s own sportive and the Tour de Yorkshire legacy event.
