The Christmas Cracker (Sunday December 28)
The Christmas Cracker (Sunday December 28)
Perhaps one of the most difficult times of the whole festive season to keep riding, the Christmas Cracker aims to help sportive riders top up the winter miles between Christmas and New Year.
The new event, which starts in Cobham, Surrey, boasts a challenging, fully-signed 60-mile route with a rolling mechanic, mid-ride feed station and post-ride food.
Climbs on the route include Crocknorth Road, which has been part of the Tour of Britain, and Juniper Climb on an event for which entries close on Christmas Eve.
Starting at 7.30am, the event has a cut-off time of 1.30pm meaning there will still be plenty of time to fit in the usual Christmas family festivities. Entry costs £25.
