Liberty Seguros-Würth have been sponsored by Oval for the past two seasons and these bars have been custom made for the team and rushed onto the bikes for the opening TT and yesterday’s the Team TT. Designed with F1 technology and shaving 300 gr. from the former handlebar. This is Roberto Heras’ bike who rode the proto of the new TT bar in the first time trial.

Team Directeur Sportif Manolo Saiz (formerly of ONCE) is no stranger to perfecting the TT bike (he was in part responsible for Giant’s TT bikes) He has made the BH bike to the team’s spec with shorter compact geometry and a much stiffer frame, as he says: “to make them more rapid in the exits of the curves”.

New Corima TT wheels too, made with a new carbon fibre material that improves the rigidity and allows to make narrower, which (apparently) improves the moment of inertia. The back wheel follows the traditional lenticular disc design, whereas the front is an all new monocoque aero spoke design.
