With the New Year now upon us, the new WorldTour season will be rolling out in Adelaide before we know it and another – hopefully – enthralling year of pro racing will be under way.
But what will 2015 hold for the upper echelons of professional cycling, and how can it build on a successful 2014?
Last year saw Nairo Quintana (Movistar), Vincenzo Nibali (Astana) and Alberto Contador (Tinkoff-Saxo) while Alejandro Valverde (Movistar) was crowned world number one.
