Pro bike: Russell Downing’s Ridley Helium SL

Yorkshireman's steed from his home race

Russell Downing (Cult Energy Pro Cycling) flew the flag for his home county at the Tour de Yorkshire, bagging a top ten finish on stage two and finishing 23rd overall.

Downing joined Danish-based squad Cult Energy ahead of the 2015 season, moving back up to UCI ProContinental level after a year with British-based, Continental-registered outfit NFTO.

We stopped by the Cult Energy mechanics’ truck at the Tour de Yorkshire to check out Downing’s bike. Take a look at the 36-year-old Ridley Helium SL in the gallery below.
