Starting in Bridlington and ending in Scarborough, the three stage international cycling competition attracts riders from across the globe and was set up after the success of the 2014 Yorkshire Grand Depart.
Spanning three days, tens of thousands of riders battle through a 167km (104 mile) race. The track pushes riders through Wakefield in West Yorkshire to Barnsley in South Yorkshire and back through Bronte country in the Pennines before a finish in front of thousands of spectators in Roundhay Park, Leeds.
With each stage offering something different, along the way riders and spectators are treated to views of national parts, Yorkshire’s moorlands and coastal scenery. With the race now officially added to the world cycling calendar 2015, the Tour de Yorkshire predict about one million people will take to the streets to welcome some of the world's top cyclist.
