Earlier this week we reported on the Parlee Z5 SL frame that we’ve just built up to review. It’s a stunning carbon frame, not just because it looks great but also the svelte 750g frame weight, making it one of the lightest production frames in the world.

Instead of fitting a load of top draw components, we settled on SRAM’s Force groupset, a pair of Fulcrum 1 Racing wheels, aluminium USE stem and seatpost and a matching carbon handlebar.

Then we put it on the scales.
